Ask fAMILIAR FOR HELP

Blue Glitter Slime

“Well, what do you think I should do, then?” you say.

Cut off a bit of the tarp, and clean your foot. Surely, your mother taught you how to clean your feet.

You grit your teeth and mutter, “You know my mother, idiot,” but you do as you were told, taking your small knife out of your pocket to saw through a large napkin-sized bit of the cloth. As you saw--your knife isn’t exactly made for cutting fabric--you feel the goo climbing higher, spreading the tingling sensation. But it’s slow. By the time you rip the cloth free, it’s only an inch above your ankle.

You wipe it off your skin, careful not to get any on your hand, and then clean up your shoe. It does the job, especially after you dunk your shoe into the sand to identify any leftover sticky spots. With that done, you throw the napkin into the water and remove the stakes keeping the sheet in place over your boat. What do you do next?
