Onward through the Subway

Once again you begin traveling onwards, using the rails as a guide. After several minutes of travel you can’t help but feel you're being watched. What was once a quick scuttle from a nearby rodent has now become a clatter of rats as they pool together seemingly dancing around you within the shadows. As you go to continue forward you hear a high growl and see 2 large beady eyes staring you down. If not for the long thin, hairless tail you would assume it to be a coyote or large dog. The giant rat bares its fangs as the drool drips down its maw. Around it are other smaller rats which form a hoard behind you blocking your escape. As the swarm and the giant slowly encroach on you your mind races as you try and think of a plan.
