Walk Down Road

As you wander down the road, you step carefully over the branches, worrying about stray sludge, but you don’t see much of it. A building gets closer and closer as you go. You keep relatively quiet, afraid of alerting any dangerous wildlife to your presence. Your spirit familiar doesn’t seem to care, however, and hums a tune in your head as you wander. Every so often, it says a line of lyrics.

“You said it’s meant to be.” Hum, hum, hum, hummm. “Fell in a cement mixer full of quick sand.” Hum, hum, hum, hummm.
After thirty minutes, you step up to the front of a small store. The sign says: W LMA T

The door creaks open at your touch, and you step inside, keeping your light bright as you go.
