Land in the clearing
As you descend into the clearing you notice the colossal size of the trees for the first time. The greatest of them could rival the sky towers of your home. They are like kings.
You wander the forest floor for a time. Butterflies, squirrels, and rabbits all make themselves known to you. The nostalgic buzzing of forest bees in their endless search for nectar meets your ears, and you realize that you should not recognize this sound. Flowers do not grow in the land of concrete and steel.
Strangely, this place feels like home. You have never felt so comfortable before, even in your tenement in the city.
The heat of midday gets to you. Sleep overwhelms your body, and when you eventually awake, you forsake your old life for a new one of pleasant asceticism in the forest. You are never seen again by mortal eyes.
